NH MEREDITH — Committee approves moorings, extraction signage, testing equipment. The Waukewan Watershed Advisory Committee unanimously passed resolutions requiring signage for mooring regulations and prohibiting commercial water extraction, following detailed guidance from New Hampshire Marine Patrol on state-regulated moorings that would require removal and re-permitting of all existing moorings, with applicants needing 50 feet of shorefront. The committee also unanimously approved purchasing a Wisconsin Sampler plankton tow net ($299.15) and replacement bronze-link chain for water quality testing, and authorized Forest Bell Environmental to coordinate data analysis and reporting.
New Hampshire Lakes affirmed the 2026 Lake Host Program grant at $2,400.
