Meredith advances engineering plan for Lake Waukewan pollution site

Waukewan Watershed Advisory Committee · Meeting of April 7, 2026

NH MEREDITH — Meredith's watershed committee advances engineering plan for lake's worst pollution site. The committee, meeting April 7 at Town Hall Annex, discussed the final phase of a state-funded grant project: an engineering assessment of the boat launch area, where 10 years of DES testing identified elevated conductivity and phosphorus levels many times over lake averages. Committee members Donna Murphy and Frank Murphy will present the findings to the Meredith Select Board.

The engineering firm will present initial evaluations and possible site redesign options to the town and the watershed committee.
