NH MEREDITH — Meredith's Waukewan Watershed Advisory Committee approves $2,575 environmental testing at Water Department. Jim Wieler motioned the authorization for Forrest Bell Environmental to conduct site evaluation and testing preparation behind the Water Department facility at the railroad tracks, with the motion passing unanimously. The Water Department and Meredith DPW will jointly fund the environmental testing evaluations.
Committee water quality monitoring through VLAP testing shows minimal contamination to date across eight test sites for coliform and E. coli levels, with an expanded panel of tests now defining nutrient levels at deeper sites.
