Waukewan committee advances boat launch remediation planning

NH MEREDITH — Waukewan Watershed Advisory Committee plans lake protection initiatives. The committee reviewed a May 21 engineering evaluation of boat launch remediation with engineers from Horsley Witten, with the report available in several weeks. Committee member Donna Murphy will advance $4000 for Lake Host recruitment efforts, supplementing a $2400 annual grant from NH Lakes.
The committee is planning an Educational Outreach event for June 17 at the Community Center with Steve Landry from NHDES as the featured speaker.
