NH MEREDITH — Meredith Conservation Commission schedules spring stream restoration and proposes shoreline rules. The commission approved January minutes and advanced multiple initiatives including stream restoration on Hermit Brook and Merrill Stream beginning in April, a proposed 65-foot shoreline setback regulation for Planning Board review, and trail improvements. The commission considered a $5,000 funding request from the Lake Pemigewasset Preservation Association to match state and New Hampton Conservation Commission grants for invasive milfoil abatement.
New residents John and Marilee Lin expressed interest in commission participation; Marilee Lin will coordinate Holderness School student volunteers for brush clearing beginning in March.
