Meredith revises cemetery pricing; fees cut up to 85 percent

NH MEREDITH — Meredith cuts cemetery fees by up to 85 percent, aligning with regional standards. The Select Board unanimously approved revised pricing recommended by Cemetery Sexton Bob O'Neil and DPW Director Craig Hale, effective immediately, reducing monument fees from $500 to $200, corner posts from $500 to $75, cremation graves from $750 to $300, and full graves from $1,500 to $1,000. In related business, the board unanimously appointed 11 members to the America's 250th Celebration Committee and voted to reconvene the Short-Term Rental Committee to address licensing and grandfathering issues identified in consultation with Town Attorney Tim Sullivan.
