Select Board approves Boho Bazaar event with future-exception restriction

Select Board · Meeting of March 30, 2026

NH MEREDITH — Meredith Select Board approves Boho Bazaar; restricts future street-closure exceptions. The board voted 4-1 Thursday to permit the August 15 event on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with Selectperson Jeanie Forrester proposing an amendment barring future exceptions absent a formal town policy. The business owner of Rise cited three years of past successful events and merchant support in her appeal to the board.

Town Manager Judie Milner will draft the formal policy for workshop review in April or May.
