NH MEREDITH — Meredith watershed committee advances collaborative UNH research partnership for lake water quality. The Waukewan Watershed Advisory Committee, chaired by Donna Murphy, approved a collaborative effort with UNH beginning February 8, combining traditional DES VLAP testing with additional focused research. The committee also continued discussions on managing unregulated commercial water withdrawals from Lake Waukewan, consulting with Fish and Game and the Department of Environmental Services.
Andrew Van Ness has been appointed as the new Administrative Assistant for the Lake Waukewan Program, replacing retired coordinator Carolyn Rideout.
