Town Hall space needs study presents two building concepts

Select Board · Meeting of February 2, 2026

NH MEREDITH — The Meredith Select Board reviewed two architectural concepts for consolidating municipal offices at its February 2 meeting. SPS Architects presented proposals to either renovate the existing Town Hall building at just under $14 million over 16 to 18 months or construct a new building on the Police Department site at $8.1 million over 12 months. Both designs include meeting rooms for town boards accommodating 70 people and consolidated departmental office space.

The Board approved prior meeting minutes unanimously and decided to vote at the February 9 public hearing on a $960,000 warrant article to fund engineering studies for the preferred concept and the Main Street project.
