NH MEREDITH — Select Board approves library trustee appointments and advances policy work. The board voted 4-0 to appoint Judy Rosenthal, Paula Wanzer, and Patricia Fish as alternates to the Library Board of Trustees, with Vice Chair Jim Gregoire absent. The board reached consensus to advance a revised Parks and Street Closures policy to a June 8 vote; the policy gives the Select Board final authority over all town road closures and establishes a permitting process routed through public works, fire, police, and code enforcement.
The board also scheduled a public hearing on a $1,500 annual commercial boat-launch fee for out-of-town operators. A final design for a 9/11 memorial at the Fire Station is due June 8.
